Janssen and Rollema join forces

Joining forces makes further growth possible within technical logistics services.

Rollema and Janssen both offer technical logistics services in which delivery is combined with installation on location. Rollema is a specialist in the supply and on-site installation of ATMs, coffee machines, fitness equipment, packaging systems, soft drink vending machines and self-scan payment systems in supermarkets. This combination of logistics and technical services increases efficiency for clients.

Janssen offers a wide range of services within logistics. In addition to global forwarding, e-commerce fulfilment, air & ocean freight, warehousing, road transport and chain management, the Value Added Deliveries division of Janssen provides technical installation on location. The latter division will work together with Rollema. The merger will expand the Value Added Deliveries network with locations in Delft, Apeldoorn, Assen and Son.

The transaction of Rollema and Janssen is the third for Janssen in 2022. Earlier this year, Janssen merged with a software platform in Hamburg that supports customers in parcel shipments. In October it was announced that the logistics divisions of VCK, Air & Sea freight and Supply Chain Solutions, will continue with Janssen to strengthen those parts. These mergers allow the various business units to strengthen their position, and also give an extra dimension to the overarching one-stop-shop model.
